Branding Design Problem 1

After reading this page, and BEFORE you begin working, answer the following questions in the discussion tab.

What target audience are you designing for? Why?
How does music style BRAND itself?
What accent color did you select for this audience?
When do you use CMYK color settings and when do you use RGB color settings?

Design Problem 1. Answer the questions after you read these steps 2. Create a magazine spread design that appeals to 1 of the 3 following target audiences. Because of copyright and the risk of somoene designing something inappropriate, do not use a band name on your design at all. Don't even ask me. Even if it is your high school band, don't even ask me. I won't budge on this. Get it?

3. Your magazine spread must contain ALL of the following copy__, including the reference information from wikipedia and websters. Copy/Paste into a text box in InDesign.

Music is an art form whose medium is sound organized in time. Common elements of music are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike), "(art) of the Muses".[1[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music#cite_note-0|]]]
The creation, performance, significance, and even the definition of music vary according to culture and social context. Music ranges from strictly organized compositions (and their recreation in performance), through improvisational music to aleatoric forms. Music can be divided into genres and subgenres, although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to individual interpretation, and occasionally controversial. Within "the arts", music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art, and auditory art.
