Step 1: Scan or import a Photo of yourself and open in photoshop. Images must be a facial portrait, in an appropriate expression taken in an appropriate background. Resize the image so it is 7"x5" or 5"x7" depending on orientation.
Step 2: Import image into Adobe Ilustrator.
Step 3: Using the PEN tool in Adobe Illustrator, trace the contours of your face and facial features.
Change the Stroke and Fill colors accordingly, to create a REALISTIC illustration of your face and shoulders only.
Evaluation-Simple:
Your eyes, mouth, facial parts, hair and shoulders should be traced.
After tracing, shift the image in such a way that we can see both your illustration and the actual photo (see right).
Highly realistic designs. Abstract designs will not be accepted.
Due Date: May 4th. Email a flattened optimized PDF to lori.nock@mvla.net. Copy/paste this image onto your banner document.
